Bonus offers are available for a limited time only. The account opening bonus AAdvantage® miles are earned upon opening your new AirMiles Checking account, and the direct deposit bonus AAdvantage® miles are earned when you sign up for direct deposit. Direct deposit must be initiated within 60 days of opening your AirMiles Checking account and must be at least $250 per month or direct deposit bonus will be reversed. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) as of 6/30/04 was 0.25% and is subject to change. There is no minimum balance required to obtain AAdvantage® mileage bonuses for opening an account or for establishing direct deposit; however, the minimum balance to open the account is $100. You will be assessed a fee of $100 if you close your AirMiles Checking account within 90 days of opening, or a fee of $50 if you close your account after 90 days but before 181 days of opening. Another Guaranty Bank account cannot be converted or closed in order to open an AirMiles account and receive the account-opening AAdvantage® mile bonus. The AAdvantage® mile bonuses for account opening and direct deposit may be awarded one time per primary accountholder and may only be awarded in connection with the opening of any accountholder's first AirMiles Checking account.
