According to the following FW post, Citi PremierPass cards that currently offer $100 and $200 bonuses (10000 and 20000 TY points) will be discontinued on 12/8/08. The sign-up and earned TY points will apparently be still safe for 3 years.

Thought I would start a new topic for this as opposed to adding onto an existing one, because I'm sure like myself, there are lots of people that this will affect. This is my daily spender card and I probably put $2000+ on this card every month.

Just received a letter today saying that the card is being discontinued as of December 8. Thank You points earned from the card are safe for 3 years.

I called into customer service and was told that I would have to reapply - they will not change my account over or roll the credit line into another account. I'm in the middle of an AOR and there would be no way I would be approved for any considerable limit at this time (current limit = 22K)

Update: Talked to a second CSR and am told I can reconsolidate my CL to another CitiBiz card or change it over into a "CitiBusiness Platinum Select" card. I opted for that, as I don't have another CitiBiz card. I had to call back to get more detail, but it seems that the card in question is really the CitiBusiness Card with ThankYou Network, available here on the Citi website. Number stays the same.

Important that you change over or reallocate before December 8; otherwise your account could be closed with no recourse for keeping the credit line.
